I hear you…the FINRA process is designed to make certain that you lose all over again. My hopes are that Congress will outlaw forced arbitration agreements. There’s talk of this with respect to cell phone contracts, which gets more attention than brokerage arbitration agreements, but maybe we’ll get to throw out two bad babies with the arbitration bath water.

I feel your pain – we’ve been in the same situation with Ameriprise. Our state regulator has no interest in helping out and there doesn’t seem to be any hope of a big settlement for us. We’re now left to the mercy of a FINRA arbitration which we have absolutely no faith in. Meanwhile the legal fees just keep stacking up. It’s a nightmare.
